148 Main is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Welcome to 148 Main Street.
Built circa 1889, the miner’s cottage was originally set back from Main Street, adjacent to Silver Creek. The original one-story house was constructed with two rooms on the main level. A series of lean-to additions were added to the original structure early in its history to accommodate a kitchen and bathroom.
As recently as 2008 the structure was moved to its current location and lovingly remodeled with great attention to detail.
